Baked crab wontons are a lighter, healthier alternative to fried rangoon, offering a crispy texture with a creamy, savory filling. They are easily made by baking wonton wrappers filled with cream cheese, mayonnaise crab meat, green onions, celery and carrots.
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Using cooking spray, grease mini muffin cups. Press wontons into muffin cups. Spritz wontons with cooking spray. Bake for 5-7 minutes and remove from oven.
Using a mini prep or regular food processor, chop green onions, carrot and celery until finely chopped.
Using a fork, mix cream cheese with mayonnaise, salt and pepper until smooth. Fold in crab and chopped vegetables. Spoon mixture into baked wonton cups. Bake for 9-11 minutes.
Serve with sweet and sour sauce, sweet chili sauce or a dip of equal parts soy and rice vinegar.
