Cooking at home requires having the right tools. I have been collecting my kitchen tools since I had my first apartment and it dramatically increased when I purchased my first home.
Having the right pans is imperative. For years, I collected vintage cast iron pans. However, I also love my new All Clad Cookware. The stainless cooking and even heating of these pans helps create a perfect meal.
For making desserts that requires melting chocolate, I prefer the convenience of using a double boiler to avoid burning chocolate and resulting in a smooth melted chocolate.
Baking requires several specific pans, such as cookie sheets, brownie pans and baking is eased by using pop up parchment sheets.
Most of my entree recipes use freshly ground black pepper. A good quality pepper mill is a must for any kitchen.
