Blackberry Mule Mocktail

Seasonal blackberries and mint are a wonderful base for this fizzy, citrusy and slightly sweet blackberry mule mocktail. As people move toward healthier choices, mocktails are amongst the options becoming more popular. Using seasonal fruit and herbs with freshly squeezed lime juice and ginger beer makes this refreshing mocktail a perfectly balanced drink for any warm weather day.

This cocktail is perfect for spring and summer, using seasonal berries and fresh lime to complement the slightly sweet taste of ginger beer.

Ingredients

Blackberry Syrup

Instructions

  1. Make syrup by dissolving sugar into hot water and allow to cool. Place blackberries in syrup and mash. Allow to steep for 10 minutes. Strain berry from syrup. Store what you don’t use in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
  2. Fill copper mule cup with crushed ice. Pour syrup and lime juice over ice and top with ginger beer. Garnish with berries and fresh mint.
